Congratualtions to the “Daughter of the Big Three” team on reaching the top of Ben Nevis yesterday – we had a damp day, but spirits were high! They’re off to climb Scafell Thursday and Snowdon Aaturday – and generating over ?10,000 for cancer charities.

We had good 360 degree views from Scafell and Snowdon which made up for “The Ben’s” cloud cover.
All in all a very, very memorable experience.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole week. Managed to keep off the ‘naughty step’ and Hillie and I were allowed to trip down the last section of Scar Fell Pike at our own speed as we could see the welcoming committee!
Snowdon was worse than the M1 in rush hour – there was even a pop concert happening at the top along with 2 welsh guardsmen in full dress uniform – see Snowdon Summit Blog. We ended up with about 40 people on the summit for a big photo shoot.
