Southern Highlands

The wind and rain seem to have abated to give us proper winter. Low snow and freezing levels has allowed some climbing on lower crags.

I was on Ben Ledi with Anna and Joy. We Climbed a a 200m+ grade II on Creag Ghorn which had plenty of snow on it and gave an interesting, varied route. Some of the underlying turf was a bit drippy at the bottom, but it improved will with height.

Line of the route.

There’s also snow in the Ochils allowing for

a blustery day’s ski tour.
