Winter Skills at Firbush

A weekend of two halves – Saturday was mild and wet and the team from Firbush Outdoor Centre with Tom and Stephen had a late start and headed up Beinn Sheasgarnaich to try and find some snow patches. I joined them on Sunday as the temperature dropped, bringing wind, snow and cold temperatures overnight. This completely froze the mountain and allowed the team to wear crampons from 650m to the top of Meall an Tarmachan. Some good views but wild on the top.
