Andrew, Lee and I raced the thaw and climbed Mackay’s Gully on Cam Chreags which gave a good line on frozen turf, snow and ice. We descended into the coire and climbed a turfy rib next to the descent gully which gave about 50m of steep mixed climbing at about III. The freezing level was rapidly rising, and as Andrew was eating vile Tuna sandwiches we decided to call the line “Tuna Melt”.
It was 10 degrees back at the car and a rapid thaw was in progress. Axes away?
