Windy Coire an t-Sneachda

Colin and I had a day in Coire an t-Sneachda today. The buttresses were black and the freezing level was above the plateau. It was very windy!

That being said, there was firm snow and good ice in places. We climbed the bottom of red gully, which was thin and sporting, then up and onto Western Rib to via a chimney line to get some mixed climbing in. The corie looks bare and stripped – more winter required, please!
