Today we were up in Coire Nan Lochain and climbed Ewan Buttress and Astroturfer.

Excellent,  alpine day out – made more so with climbing above the “bergschrund” formed by the creep line above the great slab!

Climbing conditions were very good – lots of good ice and neve – after the thaw/freeze of the last few days. The coire was pretty busy with teams on, the Vent, Ventricle, Iron Butterflt, Milky Way and some others trying a new hard route up something hard!

There was new hoar frost growth and lots of grapual in places.

The temperature is set go rise, so all change?
