Happy New Year! – New Year 2008/9 was spent mostly with flu in Rome – but back in Scotland in looks unsettled weather for a few days – however this means thaw/freeze cycles which will consolidate the snow pack and make mountaineering routes interesting climbs.

Andrew’s up in the Cairngorms at the moment, so we should expect some reports from him.
