Spent the weekend in Glen Lyon?at the Scottish Scout’s Hill activities forum – we spent a day on Saturday looking at ML/WGL assessing skills?with Steve Spalding – Sunday I was out?teaching groups looking at Mountain Leader rope work?and steep ground skills.

Cold temperatures as I headed back and a good dusting of snow on the Lawers group – Meall Tarmachan looking quite wintery in the setting sun – I even thought I saw some ice forming on the waterfalls above Lawers Dam.
