In honour of our friend James currently powering up Everest fueled by Haribo, we headed down to the Lakes for a day’s CPD (Continued Professional Development) on Castle Rock in Thirlmere – with a pack of Haribo Scary Mix. Being the only climbers there, we had a good day out on Overhanging Bastian and The Barbican – both routes having an excellent mix of scary bits and steep juggy rock – The Barbican giving a superb exposed traverese
