Sport to Trad

David and Youngwha are keen sport climbers who are wanted to learn about traditional climbing, so we headed out to a (cold) Traprain Law last night to look at placing gear, building anchors and beginning to learn to lead on trad gear. We also looked at abseil retreats.

Davy and Lee popped out for a chilly evening’s climbing at Traprain Law. There were 17 cars parked at the roadside, but it didn’t seem as though there were that many climbers.
