Andrew

While England seems to be suffering from horendous floods, the western highlands have had a dry and mostly sunny July. Two weeks up north hillwalking, cragging and generally relaxing.

Halli on Grey Crag

The rain has finally stopped! Halli and I had a fine four days in the Lakes ticking classics at a variety of crags in Borrowdale, Buttermere and Thirlmere. Stunning day on Gray Crag (pic above) ticking classics. We also climbed at Black Crag, combining Raindrop and Troutdale Pinnacle Direct. We also had some excellent climbs on Shepherd’s Crag, Gowder Crag  and Castle Crag.
