Andrew, Pamela and I had a great day out yesterday in the Northern Cairngroms.

We climbed Savage Slit in Coire an Lochain, then ambled over the plateau to climb Afterthought Arete on Stag Rocks.

Lovely day with a couple of drizzly showers. Suprsingly busy  – teams on Savage slit, Daddy Long Legs and Ventriloquist (Lochain); Auld Nick (Hell’s Lum) and the Needle (Shelter Stone).
