With the cold weather we have had, David and I headed up to Coire Fee in Glen Clova to have a look at Look C gully.
It was cold and snowy, but the temperature was rising during the day. The route was mostly complete, but with running water behind some thin and hollow ice in places.
Despite this, the route was climbable and with good protection on the crux ice fall and good belays.
The top of the route had some soft sticky snow.
A good freeze will bring it into excellent condition.
