A good day in the Northern Cairngorms – although much fresh snow on the way up and high winds.
The road was closed until late in the morning, so we visited the crag in Coire na Ciste. By 1pm the sun was out and the freezing level was way above the crag and most of the snow melted, but we squeezed in a couple of snowy lines before the thaw.
