Classic mountaineering expedition yesterday with Amy, Florian, Michel and Andrew. We climbed the zig-zags in snow showers and bright sun-shine, then along Gearr Aonach and finished up the snow-ridge to the top of Stob Coire nan Lochan.
Some fresh snow and hail fell during the day – althought the buttresses look pretty black and not much ice about at present.
Winter is still out there, and plenty more classic days out like this will be had until well into later April.
There was snow in Edinburgh this morning!
