(Tracy on the Fingers)
A mostly dry weekend – Tracy, Peter, Keith and myself went up to the Northern Cairngorms to avoid the rain. We climbed a blusterey Fingers Ridge on Saturday, looking at?anchors and runner placements.?We all thought that one of the Fingers looks like it might not last that long – ceratinly more loose blocks that I remember from last time I climbed it! On the way down we practiced abseiling off a multi-pitch route.
The weather turned dark and wet on sunday, so we headed south and had a good day on Polney crag above Dunkeld – only one short shower in the mid-afternoon. We climbed Kestral Crack and – again looking at belays, anchors and runners. Keith got the short straw and led a greasey? Anon (never a diff!).
