New Year trip to Alp D’Huez for skiing and Climbing – poor conditions in 2006 led to a big dump of snow?on New Year’s Day – fantastic skiing followed.

Climbing conditions a bit thin, but we cobbled together an two-pitch Scottish grade III right under Lievre Blanc lift. There’s an ice climbing festival in the next week, so the local guides seemed to be creating cascasdes by directing water down the cliff.
